Join us for a moderated panel discussion on the future of the social work profession in Ontario. Emerging trends and challenges facing social workers today will be explored. The new OASW President, Keith Adamson will focus on how the profession of social work must position itself in order to thrive in today’s world. We will also hear local commentary on the unique challenges and opportunities for social workers working in the community, health care and private practice.

Keynote Speaker: Keith Adamson, OASW President (2014)
Keith Adamson brings more than 20 years of experience in clinical, management and professional practice leadership roles. Trained as a Social Worker, Keith completed both his MSW and BSW at the University of Montreal and his PhD in Psychology from the University of Toronto. Keith is presently the Senior Director for Collaborative Practice at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in Toronto.
After rejoining the Association’s Executive as Treasurer-Secretary in 2012, Keith is excited about taking on the new role of President for 2014-2016. He believes in the values of social work and the societal contribution that social workers make on a daily basis. He is committed to making the role of social work known to those outside of the profession and building pride amongst those within the profession.
