Caledon works with provincial and territorial government to provide updated Social Assistance Summaries

The Canada Social Report acts as a major hub for social information.  It is a resource for the entire social sector – to give all of us a strong voice and a powerful evidence base for informed policy conversations and the formulation of intelligent policy solutions.

Below is a recent project:

The Social Assistance Summaries series was developed to maintain the record of social assistance caseload information (i.e., number of cases and recipients) from Canada’s 13 provinces and territories.

All jurisdictions are available, here is the Ontario summary , depicting 1997-98 to 2014-15.
